I have arrived in Cardiff. It's dark.
First time that I've set foot in Wales since I can remember.

Currently deliberating maps and times as I want to pop down to Cardiff Bay in the morning, to make it a sea to sea trip, since the official start is inland at Cardiff Castle.
It adds an extra 3 miles which I could probably do without on day one, but in the interests of satisfying OCD tendencies for completeness, its gotta be done.
Will just have to get to earlier. Shouldn't be a problem in this hostel, it seems fairly "bustly", ie. anti-lie in.

Also slightly concerned about the forecast monsoon on Sunday. But that's for future me to deal with. And no doubt future me will be cursing present me (which will then be past me) for not planning mitigating action.
